Kings Crown Packing Inc is a GFS Certified asparagus packing house located in the Stockton/Tracy
Delta area.
At Kings Crown Packing, we have continued
to advance with our industry in providing a Primus GFS Certified location and packing a top quality product
for distribution all over the United States and around the world.
Our seasonal business begins in late February or early March and, depending on weather and market
conditions, lasts until late May or early June.

Asparagus is a spring vegetable. Our season begins in late February or early March.
Is asparagus healthy?
Asparagus is a nutrient-dense food which in high in Folic Acid and is a good source of potassium, fiber, vitamin B6, vitamins A and C, and thiamin. Asparagus has No Fat, contains No Cholesterol and is low in Sodium.
Can asparagus be eaten raw?
Although most people prefer asparagus cooked in some way, it is perfectly safe to eat asparagus raw. Just rinse it well in warm water to remove any sand and serve cold with a dip.
